AQUA SURE Tank Connector & 50mm Hosetail (Large) Strainer Cage Kit

The AQUA SURE Tank Connector & 50mm Hosetail (Large) Strainer Cage Kit comes with all the necessary components to connect your strainer to a tank or filter box from a flexible hose feed/return. Supplied unassembled, the kit allows you to configure it to suit your specific filtration setup.

This kit includes:

• Removable strainer/cage

• 56mm-56mm internal joiner

• 56mm threaded tank connector

• 56mm-50mm reducing bush

• 50mm hosetail 3 stepped

The 50mm hosetail is compatible with flexible hoses having an internal diameter (ID) of 30mm, 40mm, or 50mm. Stepped hosetails provide a versatile solution for converting flexible hose to rigid pipe or other equipment. Ensure the ID of your hose matches one of the hosetail steps. The strainer cage is ideal for any inlet or outlet pipework on filters. It stops large debris, leaves, stones, and even fish from entering your filter or pipework. It attaches securely to any 2”/56mm rigid pipe using a removable nut, providing a tight fit while remaining easy to clean—simply unthread the nut to access the interior.
