Here at eco-filtration, we regularly get asked what part are required to build a DIY barrel filter. All parts in this category can either be used for fluidized/moving beds or a static bed.
With most filters 56mm (50mm Domestic Waste) pipe is sufficient, this pipe will join/link your filters together.
Drainage port – it is imperative that all barrels have a “sludge valve” this valve will aid with cleaning. For this a 43mm (40mm Domestic Waste) gate valve can be used. To connect the valve to a barrel/tank a threaded tank connector and joining bush will be required in addition to the valve.
As mentioned, this category holds all the parts required to build a filter, parts required are at the user’s discretion.
Please select from the parts in this category to build your own DIY Barrel filter.
